Grammer School Students
The back of this card says, "Oct 13-10. Hows school nowdays. I am getting a long in school well there are about 34 scholars. Having very cold weather here. Fredrick." The card was mailed to Hattie Wallace of Clyde, NY. It was mailed October 13, 1910.
Fredrick had written Lima as the address, but it was crossed out and Clyde written in by the Lima Post Office.
It is difficult to see because of the contrast, but in the background, Wilt's Mill can be seen behind the third girl from the right side. The trolley line also can be seen, as can the trolley bridge over the Outlet.
